Will I receive a certificate of further training?

Confirmation of your participation in an event will be sent to you automatically by e-mail after the seminar/webinar. Please also check your spam folder. Please note that the confirmation will only be issued to you if you

  1. you have participated in the event, and
  2. the bill for the event has been settled.

Can I watch the recordings afterwards?

The ISIS training courses are recorded. The videos of all webinars and hybrid seminars can still be viewed by registered participants for a limited period of time. This does not apply to seminars held exclusively in person, which are not recorded.

In the case of hybrid seminars, the videos are available for viewing for 8 weeks after the event. The recordings of the webinars are available for 8 weeks after the last event in a series has been held.

Will I receive printed documents?

Participants in seminars can indicate when registering whether they would like a printed seminar folder with all the documents. This is free of charge for people attending on site. Virtual participants pay a surcharge for the printed folder (printing, materials and shipping). Printed documents are not provided for webinars.

How do I receive the seminar documents?

You can download the digital version of the seminar documents from our event platform. As a participant, you will be informed when the documents are available. For seminars, the case studies are usually published one week before the seminar. You will receive solutions and slides the day before the event.

Registration and billing

How can I view the recording for a past webinar?

To watch the recording of a webinar, you must be registered for the webinar. Registered participants will find the link to the recording in their dashboard.

If you are not registered, you can still watch the recording. You will need to register for the webinar afterwards. Search for the webinar in the archive of our events and click on "register". Alternatively, you can also register for an upcoming webinar in the same series and indicate there that you would like to purchase the entire series. Once you have completed the purchase, the recordings of past webinars will be available in your dashboard.

Is hotel accommodation included in the price?

All ISIS seminar prices do not include hotel accommodation. Even for 2-day seminars, accommodation is not included and must be booked separately. As a rule, ISIS has a room contingent with special prices at the seminar hotel. Please note that the special rates usually expire a few weeks before the seminar date. Find out in good time on our website or contact the hotel directly.

When will I receive my ordered physical seminar binder?

If you participate in our seminars on site, you will receive the seminar folder (if ordered) on the day of the seminar at check in.

How is my data protected?

ISIS, the seminar organization and any auxiliary persons involved process personal data cautiously and in accordance with the law. The ISIS privacy policy can be found here. The privacy policy of the event software used can be found here.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your registration once to another person. Such a substitute registration is possible free of charge until 12 noon on the last working day before the seminar, provided that at the same time already received documents are returned or passed on.

What discounts on the seminars do members have?

The following persons and companies enjoy discounts on ISIS events:

  • ISIS member individual and ISIS member company
  • Employees of administrations and courts
  • Persons in training and under 35 years of age

These groups receive the following discounts: CHF 100 on 1-day seminars, CHF 170 on 2-day seminars and CHF 20 on webinars.

Can I cancel my registration?

The cancellation conditions are regulated in the GTCs. Cancellation before the start of the seminar must be communicated in writing to the seminar organization (seminare@isistax.ch). This is possible free of charge up to 90 days before the seminar. After that, the full amount for the seminar will be owed in case of a cancellation. Special cancellation conditions apply to webinars (cancellation possible free of charge up to 5 working days before the event) and for seminars abroad (conditions according to the respective announcement).

What is included in the seminar fee?

The fee for the seminar or webinar includes participation in the event (virtual or on-site). Otherwise, the price of the event includes the services included in the announcement. Please note that for two-day seminars, the price of the overnight stay is not included in the price of the event.

Is the registration for the ISIS seminars binding?

A registration is binding. It can be cancelled under the conditions set out in the GTCs. Absence from the seminar due to military service, illness, maternity, accident, vacations or work commitments does not entitle the participant to a reduction or refund of the seminar fee.

Can I register another person for a seminar?

Yes, when registering you can choose whether you want to register yourself or another person (e.g. a supervisor) for the seminar.

How do I register for the ISIS seminars?

Registration for ISIS seminars and webinars takes place via our website. From here, you can go directly to the registration form on our event platform via the individual event.

How do I log in to my user account?

  1. You log in via the link to your dashboard.
  2. An input window will appear in which you can enter your e-mail address.
  3. The system will now send you a code which you must enter.
  4. The platform redirects you to your dashboard.

How is my data processed for the user account?

All information about the processing of your data can be found in the privacy policy of our event platform.

Why do I need a user account for my seminar registration?

To register, you must create an account on our event platform. We need this account to register your seminar registration and to communicate with you about the event. For example, you will receive important information, you can dial into the online events and you will be made aware of the seminar documents available for download.

Membership

How much is the membership fee?

The annual membership fee is based on the corresponding membership category. The statutes are authoritative in each case. Further information on the annual membership fees can be found here.

How can I become an ISIS member?

You can apply for ISIS membership via our website. Simply fill out the form. According to the statutes, membership is granted by the institute management.

What membership categories are there?

ISIS has the following membership categories: individual, corporate, junior (U35), passive members
