“I was especially pleased with the positive atmosphere outside the workshops as well”

Dear Peter, what surprised or delighted you the most?
As the workshop leader, I was pleased that both the first session in Bad Ragaz and the second session in Brunnen were very well attended. What was particularly gratifying—though not surprising—at both events, however, was the active participation in the discussions and the generally positive atmosphere, even outside the workshops.
What was the most important takeaway from the seminar for you?
I particularly enjoyed the in-depth examination of issues surrounding the transfer of book and film rights in the workshop led by Susanne Schreiber and Toni Hess. The two of them explored this topic—which has rarely been addressed comprehensively to date—from every angle and discussed the tax-related aspects in a highly nuanced and balanced manner.
Which case study was particularly controversial and why?
All the workshops featured topics that sparked lively debate! The speakers consistently manage to frame these issues as case studies and open them up for discussion. In my view, that is what makes this event so valuable—not only for the participants, but also for the speakers themselves.

We would like to thank all the speakers for their hard work and the engaging workshops. Special thanks go to Peter Mäusli-Allenspach this year. The event in Brunnen in June 2026 was his final ISIS seminar as a seminar leader. After many years as president of our institute and as the director of numerous continuing education programs, Peter stepped down from his roles in May. Further information can be found here.
